#4 – Par 5
Red 376 Gold 376 White 490 Blue 490
Hole #4 is a mysterious Par 5 because of the blind 2nd or 3rd shot and river. The blind shot over the hill makes this very difficult. On your first shot be careful of drifting or slicing too far right. It is easy to go out of bounds on the right or make your 2nd shot very challenging. Your 2nd shot on this par 5 is a strategic play because of the hill and brook on the other side of the hill. If you are at the top of the hill after your second shot, you are in good shape. If you can get to the bottom of that hill without going into the river that’s even better. For those of you who are long drivers, you can get over the river on your second shot but it will require a nice 2nd shot. This is a par 5 so be sure to be strategic in your shot selections.
