The Ticonderoga Golf Course is gearing up to kick off the 2023 season with its Opening Day Welcome Scramble tournament. Taking place at 9am sharp on the day of the event, this is the perfect opportunity for golfers of all skill levels to get out on the course and enjoy some friendly competition.

The format for the tournament will be a 4 person scramble, which means that each team of four will work together to play each hole in the fewest number of strokes possible. This is a great way to play with friends, family, or even meet new people and make new golfing buddies. If you don’t have a foursome already, you can sign up as a single and the organizers will find a team for you to play with.

The shotgun start at 9am means that all teams will begin play at the same time from different holes on the course. This creates an exciting and competitive atmosphere for all players, as they try to outdo each other with every shot.

After the tournament, all players are invited to Seymour’s for a well-deserved lunch. It’s a great way to wrap up the day and celebrate the start of the golf season with fellow players.

If you’re new to the Ticonderoga Golf Course, this is a fantastic opportunity to get to know the layout of the course before the season gets into full swing. You’ll have the chance to get a feel for the course, learn its unique challenges and opportunities, and meet some of the regulars who play there.

All in all, the Opening Day Welcome Scramble promises to be an exciting and enjoyable day out on the course.
