The Ticonderoga Golf Course
turns 100 this year!
100 year Celebration / 1925 Tournament - August 15-16th, 2025
A century of community
The Ticonderoga Golf Course turns 100 this year! To celebrate this centennial anniversary, we will be hosting the
1925 Golf Tournament and Family Celebration Weekend on August 15-16th. The festivities will include: a 100 yard
par 3 tournament on Friday August 15th, the annual 1925 Golf Tournament on Saturday August 16th, several golf-themed events, family fun activities at neighboring Five Nations Golf, and a Centennial Dinner Celebration with live music at Seymour’s.
Our course was established in 1925 by Scottish-born golf architect Seymour Dunn, making it one of the oldest courses
in the Adirondacks. The 9-hole course opened in 1926 and was expanded to 18 holes in 1932. Over the past several
years, the golf club has undergone major upgrades with improved layouts for existing holes, new greens and tee boxes
and of course, a beautiful new clubhouse.
We are currently focused on a capital campaign to replace the existing septic system. We need a new system to
eliminate health hazards and prevent environmental contamination, ensuring the continued safe operation of the golf
course and restaurant facilities.
As we celebrate our centennial anniversary, our members, staff, and board of directors can be proud of its enduring
legacy. It is our goal during the centennial celebration to remember the past and to prepare and preserve the golf
course for future generations.
We hope to see you at our Centennial Celebration!
