Dear Golfers, Patrons, Shareholders, and Friends of TGC,
What a memorable year 2025 has been for our Club! We couldn’t be prouder of how both the golf course and the restaurant have grown, and of the joy they continue to bring to our members, guests, and community. Celebrating our 100th anniversary was the highlight of the season, made truly special by the incredible support and enthusiasm from all of you. We genuinely believe 2025 was our best season yet, and we look forward to building on that momentum in the years ahead. Others also held TGC in high regard, as we received Proclamations from both the Town of Ticonderoga and the State of New York, as well as the 2025 Appreciation Award from the Ticonderoga Area Chamber of Commerce.
The Board’s primary goal remains to ensure financial stability and long-term strength for TGC. We are pleased to report that we are making progress toward this goal, with the golf course recording 10,700 rounds played, an increase of 12% over last year, and the restaurant serving more than 23,400 customers, up 14% from last year.
We’ve also heard your feedback and worked to improve communication and connection throughout the year. Our new website, newsletter, and more active social media presence on Instagram and Facebook have helped us stay better in touch with Club members and friends. Looking ahead to 2026, we are excited to introduce new opportunities, including golf clinics for beginners and women, the return of the women’s golf league, and weekly Mahjong and Bridge groups.
Fixing our septic system remains our top priority. We continue to pursue a cost-effective, regulation-compliant solution, and completion remains uncertain for now.
A Club is only as strong as the people who bring it to life each day. We are grateful to our dedicated employees for their hard work and commitment throughout the season. Special thanks go to Mike Stitt, Golf Course Superintendent; Tom Rancour, Golf Professional; Pat Brown, Chef; and Nadine Sheehan, General Manager, for their leadership and exceptional service.
