Course Maintenance Update: 18th Green & Bunker Repair
â³ïž 18th Green Restoration
Over the past week, the grounds crew completed a necessary repair on the 18th Green. Due to an unusually wet spring, the front portion of the green experienced settling and partial collapse. To restore the area, the team:
- Sod cut the damaged section
- Leveled and heavily tamped the soil
- Resodded the area using turf from our on-site nursery
The repaired section has been roped off and marked with Ground Under Repair signage. If your ball lands in this designated area, please take the nearest relief without penalty. Weâll remove the ropes as soon as the sod is established enough for regular foot traffic and play. Thank you for your patience and cooperation!
â³ïž Bunker Repairs on #9 and #11
The crew also addressed persistent drainage issues and material contamination in two bunkers:
- The #11 fairway bunker
- The rear greenside bunker on #9
Repairs included:
- Removing old, contaminated sand
- Repairing failed drainage systems
- Installing a new fabric liner along faces and drainage lines
- Filling with fresh, clean bunker sand
These updates are part of our ongoing efforts to enhance playability and maintain high-quality course conditions. We appreciate your continued support and look forward to seeing you on the course!
