Dear Shareholders and Friends of TGC,
As we approach the start of the 2026 golf season with Opening Day on April 13, weather permitting, we are glad to welcome you back to Ticonderoga Golf Club.
This year marks an important chapter in our history – the beginning of TGC’s second century. As we move forward, our focus remains on providing an outstanding golf and dining experience while ensuring the Club’s long-term financial health.
Over the past year, the Board and management team have taken meaningful steps to set TGC up for success. We are pleased to introduce our new Golf Course Superintendent, Mike Vella. With over 40 years of experience in golf course management and construction, Mike offers valuable expertise and a deep respect for course design, helping to improve playing conditions.
We are also excited to welcome our new Executive Chef, James Delaney, who brings more than 30 years of culinary experience. His background includes managing high-volume kitchens, developing innovative menus, and consistently delivering top-quality dining. With Seymour’s opening May 7, members and guests can anticipate a refreshed, high-quality menu to accompany the quality service they receive.
Equally important, we are working to bring back much of the dedicated team from last season. Their professionalism and dedication were vital to the positive member and guest experience in 2025. This continuity is supported by outstanding leadership from Nadine Sheehan, General Manager, and Tom Rancour, Head Golf Professional, who continue to set the standard for service, operations, and daily execution.
From a financial standpoint, our main priority remains disciplined and responsible management. Our goal for 2026 is to achieve profitability, a crucial milestone that will enable us to reinvest in both the golf course and the clubhouse while maintaining the accessibility and character that define TGC.
To support this goal, we have finalized our 2026 Rate Card, which is now available on our website and in the Pro Shop. This year’s pricing features a more streamlined structure, incorporates valuable community feedback, and ensures our prices reflect the quality of the experience we deliver.
Ticonderoga Golf Club continues to thrive because of the ongoing commitment of its shareholders and the loyalty of our wider golf and dining community. As we begin our second century, we are confident that the steps we are taking – across operations, staffing, and financial management – position TGC for a strong and sustainable future.
We look forward to welcoming you back on April 13 and wish you a fantastic start to the 2026 season.
Warm regards,
Ticonderoga Golf Club
