With over two decades of experience in the culinary industry, Chef Derek has lived and worked in many places, but is now proud to call the Adirondacks home. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, he started his career at venues like the PGA National Country Club and Delray Beach Marriott in Florida. He then headed north to hone his skills at The Sagamore Resort and The Lake Placid Lodge (Relias Châteaux) and has now brought his talents to Seymours restaurant. His passion and creativity for food show on every plate as he combines modern American cuisine with fresh farm-to-table ingredients.
