Tenth Hole

Par 4

440 Yards

The 10th hole at Ticonderoga Golf Course will play around 440 yards from the back tees, upon opening the new tee complex in mid 2020.  The new tees sit directly below the patio of the new clubhouse.

A downhill, dog leg left par 4, the 10this a great challenge to start the back 9. Accuracy off the tee is a priority. Tee shots to the left will force the golfer to content with a line of trees and a steep side hill lie. Conversely, a drive to the right will result in a lengthy approach.

The well-placed tee shot will still have a challenging approach into the 10thgreen. The 2ndshot plays about one club less due to significant elevation change.  The green was renovated as part of phase one of the course renovation.  The new green sits well above the nearby trout brook, farther above the brook than the original green and with enhanced drainage.  The brook runs down the right side of the approach and will collect the dreaded short, right miss.  A small bunker sits front and right of the two-tiered green.

Front pin locations make for challenging putts from the top tier. The top tier offers fun undulation and challenge. Par is a great score on 10!
